Leader In Training (LIT)

Our LIT program is available for rising 8th and 9th graders in our day camp, and rising 9th and 10th graders in our overnight camp. These program offers teens a chance to participate in their favorite camp activities, while working directly with camp leaders to better serve our community.

June 15th - August 21st

Each week is Monday through Friday.
.This program provides and opportunity for campers to do shadowing, team building games, and is a great introduction to the overnight leadership camp.

July 11th-July 25th
This is a two week session with a stayover between
Two weeks of building on leadership skills is the focus of the Overnight L.I.T. program. Teens will gain a better understanding of leadership and what it takes to be a part of a team. This program is a great building block for the C.I.T. program.
The total cost of this valuable 2-week program is $810. This promises to be a challenging opportunity that will help to shape your teen into a key part of the Camp Weaver family and your community.

Counselor In Training (CIT)

Solid training, spiritual growth, lifelong friendships and great times!

Our CIT program is designed for teens that want to build leadership skills while learning what it takes to be a great camp counselor. Our program is available as a three-week overnight session for rising 11th grade campers.

We believe these youth are the future of Camp Weaver. Therefore, they are encouraged to work together to learn the skills needed to become positive role models, in both our camp and the community.

* Ability and desire to work with children.
* Willingness to develop counselor skills.
* Willingness to accept responsibility.
* Desire for a first, or repeat, summer camp experience.

The total cost of this valuable 4-week program is $800. This promises to be a challenging opportunity that will help to shape your teen into a key part of the Camp Weaver family and your community.

1. Adobe Acrobat format Fill out an application
2. Obtain 2 letters of reference
3. Complete a one-page essay on why you want to be a CIT at Camp Weaver and what you have to offer our camp.
4. Receive signed permission from a parent or guardian to participate in our CIT program.
5. Upon acceptance, register online.
